Storage Cleaner: Free Space ("the app") is a free Android utility published by

Dwaansh Apps. This page explains what data the app accesses, how it is used,

and your rights as a user.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The app itself collects no personally identifiable information. It has no user

accounts, no login, and no first-party analytics.

Data stored locally on your device only:

- Your selected theme preference (Light / Dark / System)

- Your notification preferences (on/off per type)

- Basic cleaning history totals (number of cleans, space freed)

None of the above ever leaves your device.

2. DEVICE STORAGE ACCESS

The app reads aggregate storage figures (total space and free space) using

Android's standard API. This information is displayed on screen only and is

never transmitted anywhere.

The app can clear its own cache only. Android does not allow any app to delete

another app's files directly, and we do not attempt to do so.

3. USAGE ACCESS PERMISSION (OPTIONAL)

To show the cache size of each installed app, the app may request the Usage

Access special permission. This is fully optional - the app works without it.

- We use this only to read cache sizes of installed apps.

- We do not read your app usage history, screen time, or any other data.

- Nothing collected via this permission is uploaded or shared.

- You can revoke it anytime in:

  Settings > Apps > Special app access > Usage access

4. ADVERTISING - GOOGLE ADMOB

The app displays ads through Google AdMob. To serve and personalise ads,

Google may collect and process certain data, including:

- Your device's advertising ID

- IP address and approximate location

- Device and app information

This data is processed by Google under their own policies:

We do not receive or store any of this advertising data ourselves.

5. YOUR CONSENT AND AD PRIVACY CHOICES (GDPR / EEA)

In the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and other applicable

regions, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent

before serving personalised ads.

You can review or change your consent at any time:

  App > Settings > Privacy & Ads > Ad privacy options

6. NOTIFICATIONS

With your permission, the app can send:

- Low storage warnings - when free space runs low

- Cache reminders - when clearable cache builds up

- Weekly storage reports - a brief summary once a week

All notifications are optional. You can turn off any or all of them:

  App > Settings > Notifications

  or via your device system notification settings.

7. PERMISSIONS SUMMARY

INTERNET

  Required by AdMob to load and display ads.

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

  Detects offline status so the app can inform you when ads are unavailable.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  To send optional storage alerts and weekly report (Android 13+).

PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS

  Optional - to read per-app cache sizes only (see Section 3).

The app does NOT request access to your files, photos, camera, microphone,

contacts, or precise location.

8. DATA SHARING AND THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third party except

as described in Section 4 (Google AdMob). No other SDKs, analytics tools, or

crash-reporting services are included in this app.

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

------------------------------------------------------------

This app is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable

minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information

from children.

10. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

------------------------------------------------------------

All data stored by the app lives entirely on your device. Uninstalling the app

removes all of it. For ad-related data retained by Google, please refer to

Google's privacy policy linked in Section 4.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated date at the

top of this page will always reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the

app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
